Portrait of Constance Le Scouarnec

Anna Films is an independent film production company founded in Paris in 2024 by Constance Le Scouarnec. It develops and produces both short and feature films, in live-action and animation, with an editorial focus on singular storytelling, innovative forms, and the emergence of new filmmakers in France and internationally.

Before founding Anna Films, Constance Le Scouarnec began her career at Les Films Pelléas (Anatomy of a Fall by Justine Triet, winner of the 2024 Oscar for Best Original Screenplay), where she worked on digital projects for the Paris Opera’s 3e Scène. She then joined Jonas Films and Miyu Productions (Chicken for Linda! by Chiara Malta and Sébastien Laudenbach, winner of the 2024 César Award for Best Animated Film). Building on these experiences and a strong network of talents and collaborators, she carries an ambitious vision: supporting a new generation of filmmakers from all backgrounds, with the conviction that the industry has everything to gain from opening up to a wider diversity of voices.

After supporting filmmaker Flóra Anna Buda through to the 2023 Short Film Palme d’Or with 27, Constance brings to Anna Films a commitment to greater representation for women in the film industry.
